Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy of www.meglioinsieme.com Information on the processing of personal data – Information notice pursuant to and in accordance with Article 13, Legislative Decree 196/2003

In compliance with Legislative Decree n. 196 of 30 June 2003 (Privacy Code), as subsequently amended, this page contains information about the processing of personal data provided by you. This Privacy Policy does not apply to any other website that you may be able to access through links found on the Internet websites of the Data Controller, which cannot be held in any way responsible for third-party websites.

For the purposes of Article 28 of the Personal Data Protection Code, the Data Controller is Gruppo Laera Srl, in the person of its legal representative pro tempore.

For the purposes of Article 29 of the Personal Data Protection Code, the Data Processor responsible for responding to requests from data subjects is Mr. Alfredo Alpens.

Place of data processing
Data processing operations related to the web services of this website are carried out at the headquarters of the Data Controller, or at the headquarters of identified providers (e.g., the website hosting service providers) in Italy and, if necessary, elsewhere within the European Union.

Types of processed data
Personal and Identification data. Personal data is any information relating to natural persons who are or can be identified, even indirectly, by reference to any other information, including a personal identification number. Identification data is personal data allowing a data subject to be identified directly (e.g., name, surname, date of birth, address, email address, telephone number).

Specific policies. Specific polices may be found in some pages of our website in relation to specific services or processing of data provided by the user or the data subject, and appropriate consent (where applicable) will be obtained in the same pages.

It should be noted that the Data Controller responsible for the tasks described in this Privacy Policy does not intend to process or request any sensitive data, and any such data provided by the data subject will be deleted, unless the data subject has explicitly consented to the processing of this information.

Purpose of data processing
Personal and identification data voluntarily provided by you will be processed, unless you object to this, for the following purposes:
  • management of technical activities required to enable navigation around this website
  • management of any request for contacts or clarifications submitted by the data subject
  • administrative and accounting activities, typically related to normal operation and interaction with the users of the website. How data is processed - retained. Data processing will be carried out by automated and/or manual means, with methods and tools aimed at ensuring the highest level of security and confidentiality, by specially designated persons. Data will be kept for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected and subsequently processed.

Scope of communication and dissemination. Your personal and identification data subject to processing will not be disseminated and may be communicated to companies/third parties in a contractual relationship with the Data Controller within the European Union, in accordance with, and within the limits of, Article 42 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 in order to comply with contractual obligations or related purposes. Your data may be communicated, exclusively for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, to the following categories of third parties:
  • providers of management services for the IT system and telecommunication networks (including emails) used by the Data Controller;
  • third parties providing support services, including technical and IT support and related services, web hosting services, and legal, accounting and administrative advice;
  • competent authorities to comply with legal obligations and/or regulations of public bodies, as requested.
Third parties falling into the above categories act as Data Processors, or autonomously as separate Data Controllers. The list of Data Processors is constantly updated and available from the headquarters of the Data Controller. Any further communication or dissemination will be carried out only with your prior explicit consent.

Nature of data provision and refusal. Except as specified for browsing data, you are under no obligation to provide your personal and identification data. The provision of personal data is optional, but necessary in order to improve features and use the services offered by the Data Controller. Failure to provide this information may make it impossible to fulfil your requests; for example, you may not receive a response to your requests from the Data Controller. The processing of personal and identification data for the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy does not require consent, pursuant to Article 24 of the Privacy Code.

Data subjects’ rights. You may contact the Data Controller or any Data Processor to exercise your rights as set out in Articles 7, 8, 9 e 10 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, by sending an email to privacy@meglioinsieme.com. You have the right, at any time, to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data about you exists, be informed about its content and source, verify its accuracy or request that it be supplemented, updated or rectified (Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code). Pursuant to the same article, you are entitled to request that any unlawfully processed data be erased, anonymised or blocked, and to object, in any event and on legitimate grounds, to the processing of such data. When contacting the Data Controller, please provide your email address, name, address and/or telephone numbers to ensure that your request is dealt with properly.
